Vista Equipment sells a full line of durable, reliable Dresser undercarriage equipment. Your parts are ready to ship right now.
Dresser-Rand equipment is widely found on job sites and in vehicle fleets. Some legacy equipment may bear either the Dresser or Ingersoll-Rand name.
Each company made its initial mark in different ways. Ingersoll sold the world’s first rock drill in 1891 and later expanded to road-building equipment when they merged with Rand Drill. But their future was in building engines. The company developed the first successful diesel-electric locomotive engine in 1925.
Ingersoll joined engine maker Dresser Industries in 1986. Dresser-Rand was acquired by German conglomerate Siemens in 2015.
It’s not easy for operators to keep up with “who-owns-what” in the construction equipment world. New mergers, acquisitions, and marketing arrangements happen all the time. They do know that Ingersoll-Rand and Dresser-Rand equipment is on the job at projects around the world.
