About Timbco

Timbco's story is a little different. It's the tale of a simple man who believed in his talents enough to start a small company. He didn't want it to become too big; he had no desire to turn it into a multi-national corporation.

Pat Crawford was a Wisconsin logger who had the chops to design a variety of forestry machines. He started Timbco in the early 1980s. His products sold well and garnered considerable acclaim in the industry. Crawford sold the company in 2000 and returned two years later with another venture, TimberPro. The company manufactured a popular line of logging equipment that found its way to many fleets and projects. Komatsu acquired TimberPro in 2019.

There are lots of Timbco feller bunchers and harvesters hard at work. They do their job well, but sometimes parts break. That leads to downtime. And when machinery isn't working, money is on the line.
